Supermodels typically wear lingerie, but a few design it as well.
Helena Christensen (an ex-Victoria's Secret Angel) recently helped launch the new Triumph Essence collection at the London retailer, Selfridges.
One of the videos on the retailer's blog features Christensen talking about how she has always loved vintage lingerie, with intricate lace details, and that she has been collecting different styles for years.
The supermodel designed 3 items in the collection, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail, including a stunning black stretch lace skirt that can be worn as shapewear.
Another supermodel-turned-designer and business woman, Elle Macpherson, has been involved in many diferent business ventures since leaving Ford Models in 1994 - and has been running Elle Macpherson Intimates since 1990. Although it is widely available in the U.S., the lingerie collection is extremely popular in the U.K. and Australia.
Elle Macpherson Intimates always launches a few new, beautifully detailed bras every season -- and Spring 2012 is no exception. This one is so pretty it reminds me of a wearable work-of-art.
