Would you sleep in an "anti-wrinkle bra" every night - to prevent signs of aging on your décolletage?

La Decollette, and looks more like a weird contraption, rather than a bra.  There are no cups, but a padded panel that lies between your breasts, resembling the back of a racer-bank tank.  The idea is to keep your breasts separated during the night if you sleep on your side.  Some say compressing the breasts together creates vertical lines and wrinkles that can extend all the way from the chest area to the neck.

It never would've crossed my mind to worry about cleavage wrinkles, but apparently 12,000 other women were also concerned--that's how many anti-wrinkle bras have sold during the past year across the Netherlands and Belgium, according to a press release.

Amsterdam native and former real estate agent Rachel de Boer came up with the idea for the bra when she started to become concerned that sleeping on her side was causing her cleavage to wrinkle.  De Boar has also worked with dermatologists to develop Creme de la Decollette, a skin cream to wear under the bra every night to intensify the anti-wrinkling effect.  The cream is said to contain active ingredients that may improve the elasticity and resilience of the skin.

The Parisian Research Institute CERCO (Centre d'Etudes et de Recherches Cosmetologique) tested women 40 to 60 years old who wore the bra every night.  According to a press release issued by La Decollette, researchers concluded that the bra had a positive effect after wearing it just 1 night.  They observed the skin again after 2 weeks, and saw the same results--that it keeps working as long as you are using it.

The La Decollette anti-wrinkle bra recently shipped to Selfridge's department store in London, and will undoubtedly be carried by a retailer in the U.S. soon.
